Catherine Atkinson

Catherine Atkinson is a British Labour Party politician and barrister serving as the Member of Parliament for Derby North since 2024. In May 2026, she was appointed as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Victims within the Ministry of Justice. Before her election to Parliament, she served as a councillor for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea from 2006 to 2010 and worked as a barrister. Atkinson holds a Master of Divinity from the University of Edinburgh and studied law at City, University of London.
