Catherine Pégard is a French politician and former journalist who serves as the Minister of Culture. She spent much of her career at the magazine Le Point, where she was editor-in-chief from 1995 to 2007, before serving as a political advisor to President Nicolas Sarkozy. From 2011 to 2024, she headed the Public Establishment of the Palace, Museum and National Estate of Versailles, and later returned to the Élysée as a cultural advisor to President Emmanuel Macron before her appointment as Minister of Culture.
