Cecilia Marcos

Cecilia Narciso Araneta Marcos is a Filipino politician currently serving as the Governor of Ilocos Norte, having been elected to the position in 2025. She previously served as the Vice Governor of the province, a role she assumed in 2019 after substituting for her late husband, Mariano Marcos II. In 2024, she made a strategic political move by withdrawing her reelection bid for vice governor to exchange candidacies with her nephew, then-governor Matthew Manotoc. She is a member of the prominent Marcos political family and is a first cousin of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
