Angelo Barba

Eugenio Angelo Marcos Barba is a Filipino politician currently serving as the representative for the 2nd district of Ilocos Norte, a position he has held since 2019. A member of the prominent Marcos family, he is the nephew of former President Ferdinand Marcos and a cousin of President Bongbong Marcos. His extensive career in public service includes serving as the mayor of San Nicolas from 1992 to 2001, a member of the Ilocos Norte Provincial Board from 2001 to 2010, and vice governor of Ilocos Norte from 2010 to 2019. In his current role, he has advocated for legislative reforms, including proposals to extend the terms of House lawmakers.
