Cengiz Aydoğdu is a Turkish politician and bureaucrat currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Aksaray, representing the Justice and Development Party (AK Party). Born in 1958 in Aksaray, he graduated from the Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences. Before entering parliament, he held significant administrative roles, including serving as the Governor of Artvin and Kırklareli, and as the General Director of Population and Citizenship Affairs. Aydoğdu is also an author who has received awards for his essays. He has been a member of the Turkish Parliament since November 2015, where he serves on the Constitutional Commission and the European Union Harmonization Commission.
