Cevdet Akay is a Turkish politician and economist currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the Republican People's Party, representing the Karabük province. Before entering parliament, he had a distinguished career in the finance sector, holding executive roles at various banks including Şekerbank and Tekstilbank. He also served as the head of several civil society organizations and business confederations. Akay holds a degree in finance from Gazi University and is a member of the Plan and Budget Committee in the Turkish Parliament.
