Chamara Sampath Dassanayake

Chamara Sampath Dassanayake is a Sri Lankan politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament representing the Badulla District. He began his political career in the Uva Provincial Council in 1994 and later served as the Chief Minister of Uva Province from 2015 to 2019. Throughout his career, he has held various provincial ministerial portfolios, including Sports, Youth Affairs, and Education. Dassanayake was elected to the national parliament in 2020 as a candidate for the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
