Chanda Chaudhary

Chanda Chaudhary is a Nepali politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. She briefly held the position of Minister of Women, Children and Senior Citizens in 2021, serving for 18 days before the appointment was invalidated by the Supreme Court. Throughout her career, she has been an advocate for women's rights and has publicly expressed support for the death penalty for those convicted of rape. She is also the founding chair of the Nepal India Women Friendship Society.
