Chandrakant Handore is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha representing Maharashtra. A prominent Dalit leader and member of the Indian National Congress, he previously served as a Cabinet Minister for Social Justice in the Government of Maharashtra and as the Mayor of Mumbai from 1992 to 1993. Handore is the founder of the socio-political organization Bhim Shakti and has held various leadership roles within the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, including Working President.
