Chandrakant Sonawane

Chandrakant Baliram Sonawane is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the 15th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, representing the Chopda Assembly Constituency. Born in 1961 into an agriculturist family in the Jalgaon district, he began his political career by serving as a corporator in the Jalgaon Municipal Corporation in 2013. He was subsequently elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly in 2014 and served as a director of the Jalgaon District Central Co-operative Bank starting in 2015.
