Chasity Martinez

Chasity Verret Martinez is an American politician serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for the 60th district. A member of the Democratic Party, she assumed office in 2026 following a special election victory against Republican nominee Brad Daigle. Prior to her election to the state legislature, Martinez served on the Iberville Parish Council, having been elected to that position in October 2023 after defeating the incumbent. Her legislative career focuses on representing the interests of her constituents in Iberville and surrounding areas.
