Chen Ying is a Taiwanese politician and musician currently serving as a member of the Legislative Yuan, representing the Lowland Aborigine Constituency. A member of the Puyuma tribe, she has been a prominent advocate for indigenous rights, transitional justice, and the protection of tribal lands. Throughout her legislative career, she has focused on issues such as cultural preservation, national security regarding foreign influence, and the development of sports science. In 2025, she was nominated by the Democratic Progressive Party as its candidate for the Magistrate of Taitung in the 2026 local elections. Chen holds a doctorate in music and is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
