Cho Gyu-il is a South Korean politician currently serving as the Mayor of Jinju. A career civil servant, he previously held senior positions in the Gyeongsangnam-do provincial government, including serving as the Vice Governor for Western Gyeongsangnam-do. He was first elected as Mayor of Jinju in 2018 and has since secured re-election, eventually becoming the first three-term mayor of the city. Following his departure from the People Power Party in 2026, he currently serves as an independent official.
