Chris Tonietto

Chris Tonietto is a Brazilian lawyer and politician currently serving as a federal deputy for the state of Rio de Janeiro. A member of the Liberal Party, she was first elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2018 and re-elected in 2022. A Roman Catholic, Tonietto is known for her conservative political stances, including her vocal opposition to abortion in all cases and her advocacy for traditional family values. She previously practiced law and was associated with the Centro Dom Bosco cultural center.
