Christian Brade is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, representing the constituency of Ludwigslust-Parchim IV since 2016. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 1996, he previously served in local government as a member of the Banzkow municipal council and the district council of Ludwigslust-Parchim. In the state parliament, he serves on the committees for internal affairs and social affairs, and acts as the SPD parliamentary group's spokesperson for sports and cycling policy. Before his political career, Brade worked as an electrician and later became a business owner in the office equipment sector.
