Thore Stein is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party since 2021. Born in Ulm, he studied agricultural sciences in Bonn and completed a master's degree in natural resource management at the University of Halle. Before entering state politics, he worked as a management consultant and as a policy advisor for the AfD parliamentary group. Stein is also a member of the board of the Desiderius-Erasmus-Stiftung and has served on the district council of Ludwigslust-Parchim.
