Christian Mader is an Austrian politician and a member of the Landtag of Upper Austria, representing the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Born in Wels, he began his political career in local government, serving as a municipal councilor in Schlatt starting in 2003 and later as its mayor from 2015. In addition to his legislative duties, he has served as the president of the Upper Austrian Association of Municipalities since 2022 and as the district party chairman for Vöcklabruck since 2020. Before entering full-time politics, Mader worked in metal construction and as a part-time farmer.
