Christina Weng is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia, representing the constituency of Minden-Lübbecke II. Born in 1961 in Minden, she initially trained as a nurse and later pursued studies in health sciences, management, and economics. Before her parliamentary career, she served as a staff council member and chair at the Mühlenkreis clinics. Weng joined the SPD in 1996 and has held various local leadership roles within the party. She was first elected to the state parliament in 2017 and successfully defended her direct mandate in 2022.
