Markus Rinderspacher is a German politician and a long-serving member of the Landtag of Bavaria. Born in Kaiserslautern, he previously worked as a television journalist before entering state politics. He served as the chairman of the SPD parliamentary group and leader of the opposition in the Bavarian Landtag from 2009 to 2018. Since 2018, he has held the position of Vice President of the Bavarian Landtag.
