Christoph Grimmer

Christoph Grimmer is a German local politician who has served as the Lord Mayor of the city of Crailsheim since February 2018. Before entering politics, he worked as a scientist, author, lecturer, and journalist specializing in sports communication, holding a doctorate from the University of Hamburg. In 2016, he transitioned into political communications as a press spokesperson for the FDP parliamentary group in the Hamburg Parliament. He was elected Mayor of Crailsheim in 2017 and was re-elected for a second term in 2025 with a significant majority.
