Michael Hofmann

Michael Hofmann is a German politician and lawyer who has served as a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since 2013. Representing the Christian Social Union (CSU), he holds the direct mandate for the Forchheim constituency. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he served as the Citizens' Commissioner of the Bavarian State Government from 2020 to 2023. Hofmann is active in local politics as a district councillor in Forchheim and has held various leadership roles within the Junge Union and the CSU at the district and regional levels. In 2023, he was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit for his public service.
