Christoph Steiner is an Austrian politician and a member of the National Council representing the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). Born in 1988 in Schwaz, Tyrol, he began his career as a trained massage therapist before entering politics. Steiner has held various local government positions in Zell am Ziller and has been active in the FPÖ's regional leadership in Tyrol since 2013. He served as a member of the Federal Council from 2018 to 2024 before being elected to the National Council in the 2024 general election. In 2025, he was appointed chairman of the Tourism Committee of the National Council. His political career has been marked by controversy, including public criticism regarding his rhetoric in parliamentary debates.
