Christophe Hansen is a Luxembourgish politician serving as a Member of the European Parliament since 2018. A member of the Christian Social People's Party (CSV), he has held the position of Secretary-General of the party since 2021. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has been deeply involved in international trade and environmental policy, notably serving as the European Parliament's rapporteur for the post-Brexit Trade and Cooperation Agreement with the United Kingdom. Hansen previously worked as an adviser for MEP Astrid Lulling and as an Environment Attaché at the Permanent Representation of Luxembourg to the European Union. He is recognized for his legislative work on foreign subsidies, green bonds, and deforestation-free supply chains.
