Nancy Kemp-Arendt is a Luxembourgish politician and former elite athlete who currently serves as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. Before entering politics, she achieved significant success as a swimmer and triathlete, competing in the 1988 Summer Olympics in swimming and the 2000 Summer Olympics in triathlon. She is the only athlete to have been named Luxembourgish Sportswoman of the Year six times across two different sports. Since joining the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) in 1993, she has held a seat in the national legislature for multiple terms, having been appointed to fill vacancies and subsequently re-elected to represent the Sud constituency.
