Christopher Bellamy, Baron Bellamy is a British barrister, judge, and life peer who currently serves as a Member of the House of Lords. Called to the bar in 1968, he built a distinguished legal career specializing in European, competition, and regulatory law, eventually serving as a judge on the Court of First Instance of the European Communities and the Employment Appeal Tribunal. In 2022, he was elevated to the peerage and appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice, becoming the oldest minister in the British government at the time of his appointment.
