Philip Hammond

Philip Hammond, Baron Hammond of Runnymede, is a British politician and life peer who currently serves as a member of the House of Lords. A long-standing member of the Conservative Party, he previously held several high-profile cabinet positions, including Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2016 to 2019, Foreign Secretary from 2014 to 2016, and Defence Secretary from 2011 to 2014. Before his elevation to the peerage, he served as the Member of Parliament for Runnymede and Weybridge from 1997 to 2019.
