Christopher Geidt, Baron Geidt, is a British peer and former senior royal official who serves as a member of the House of Lords. He previously held the position of Private Secretary to Queen Elizabeth II from 2007 to 2017, having joined the Royal Household in 2002. Before his royal service, he was an intelligence officer in the British Army and a diplomat with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Between 2021 and 2022, he served as the Independent Adviser on Ministers' Interests to Prime Minister Boris Johnson, resigning from the role in protest over government policy regarding international law.
