Christopher Lennie, Baron Lennie

Christopher John Lennie, Baron Lennie is a British politician and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 2014. Before his appointment to the peerage, he held significant roles within the Labour Party, including serving as the regional director for Northern England and as the Deputy General Secretary from 2001 to 2012. Since joining the opposition front bench in 2016, he has served as an Opposition Whip and as a Shadow Spokesperson for various portfolios, including Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and International Trade.
