Christy Armendariz

Christy Armendariz is an American politician serving as a member of the Nebraska Legislature for District 18. Born and raised in Omaha, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha and an MBA from Nebraska Methodist College. Professionally, she works as a strategic sourcing specialist for the Nebraska Methodist Health System. Since her election in 2022, she has focused on issues including education, agriculture, and healthcare, while maintaining a pro-life stance and advocating for expanded Medicaid for low-income mothers. She has announced she will not seek reelection in 2026.
