Brian Garcia is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives for the 8th district. A member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Garcia has focused his legislative efforts on Indigenous rights, notably co-sponsoring legislation to establish an emergency alert system for missing Indigenous persons. Before his election, he worked as an outreach coordinator for U.S. Representative Kyrsten Sinema, served on the Tempe Union High School District board, and practiced as a law clerk. He holds a Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law and has been a vocal advocate for voting rights, particularly following his experiences witnessing voter intimidation in Guadalupe during the 2020 presidential election.
