Cindy Golding

Cindy Golding is an American politician, entrepreneur, and farmer serving as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives for the 83rd district since 2023. Born in Chicago and raised in rural Illinois, she holds a degree in biochemistry from Elmhurst University. Before her legislative career, Golding worked as an analytical chemist and co-founded the training and research company Advancement Resources. She has been active in numerous civic and agricultural organizations, including the Linn County Farm Bureau. In the Iowa House, she serves on several committees, including Labor and Workforce, Veterans Affairs, and State Government, and holds the position of vice chair of the Local Government committee.
