Jerry Alvord

Jerry Alvord is an American politician serving as a member of the Oklahoma Senate for the 14th district, a position he has held since November 2022. Before his election to the state legislature, he served two terms as a Carter County Commissioner and was active in local legislative oversight committees. A businessman and cattle rancher by trade, Alvord is affiliated with several agricultural and firearm advocacy groups, including the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association and the Oklahoma Second Amendment Association. He is also an NRA-certified handgun instructor and an elder at the Crosspoint Fellowship Church.
