Farkas Ciprián

Ciprián Farkas is a Hungarian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Sopron. A member of the Fidesz party since 1999, he holds a law degree from the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest. Before his election as mayor in 2019, he served as a local government representative and development commissioner for the city. He was re-elected as mayor in 2024 and was recognized as the Mayor of the Year in 2025. Throughout his career, he has focused on local municipal development and governance within the Sopron region.
