Circe Camacho Bastida

Circe Camacho Bastida is a Mexican politician and activist currently serving as the Mayor of Xochimilco in Mexico City, a position she assumed on October 1, 2024. Prior to her election as mayor, she served two terms as a local deputy in the Congress of Mexico City, representing the 25th district. A member of the Labor Party since 2014, she has been deeply involved in community organization, environmental defense, and social activism within Xochimilco. Her political agenda focuses on public security, gender equality, social welfare, and the preservation of local community identity.
