Sergio Mayer Bretón is a Mexican politician, actor, and producer who currently serves as a federal deputy in the Mexican Congress. Initially gaining national prominence as a member of the pop group Garibaldi and as a television actor, he transitioned into politics with a focus on animal rights and child welfare advocacy. He previously served as a federal deputy from 2018 to 2021 and returned to the Chamber of Deputies in 2024 as a plurinominal representative for the National Regeneration Movement (Morena). Throughout his career, he has been involved in various legislative initiatives concerning wildlife protection and the rights of children and adolescents.
