Claudia Eider is a German politician and molecular biologist serving as a member of the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate since 2026. Before entering state parliament, she worked in human cancer research and later as a consultant for the state sports association. Eider has been a member of the Bad Kreuznach city council since 2019, where she also chairs the SPD parliamentary group. She assumed her seat in the state legislature following the passing of Michael Simon and was subsequently elected to a full term in 2026.
