Claudia Maicher

Claudia Maicher is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Saxony, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens. Born in Erfurt, she studied sociology and economics at the University of Leipzig, where she later worked as a researcher and coordinator for the ERASMUS program. Maicher served as the state chairwoman of her party in Saxony from 2010 to 2014. Since entering the state parliament in 2014, she has focused on science, higher education, media, and cultural policy, currently serving as a committee chair and faction spokesperson.
