Miriam Block

Miriam Block is a German politician and a member of the Hamburgische Bürgerschaft, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens party since 2020. Born in Hamburg, she studied psychology at the Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg and the University of Hamburg. Professionally, she works as a psychologist in a counseling center for the unemployed and low-income earners. Her political focus areas include queer feminism, anti-fascism, climate justice, and science policy. In 2023, she gained public attention for her independent stance regarding the parliamentary investigation into the National Socialist Underground (NSU) in Hamburg.
