Claudio Griese is a German politician serving as the Lord Mayor of Hameln since 2014. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he previously worked as a lawyer from 2002 to 2014 and served on the Hameln city council and the Hameln-Pyrmont district council. During his tenure as mayor, Griese has focused on the consolidation of the municipal budget and the redevelopment of the Weser riverfront. He was re-elected to his position in 2021.
