Cleopatra Tucker

Cleopatra Tucker is an American politician serving as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing the 28th Legislative District since 2008. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she moved to Newark, New Jersey, in 1966 and spent over two decades working for the Newark Housing Authority. In the legislature, she has held leadership roles including chair of the Military and Veterans' Affairs Committee and vice-chair of the Aging and Human Services Committee. She is also known for her work as the executive director of the non-profit organization The Centre, Inc.
