Connie Bonaros

Connie Bonaros is an Australian politician who served as a member of the South Australian Legislative Council from 2018 to 2026. Before her election, she worked for over a decade as a political advisor to Nick Xenophon and John Darley. During her parliamentary tenure, she was known for her advocacy on issues such as gambling reform, consumer protection, and women's safety. She also played a key role in legislative negotiations regarding university mergers in South Australia. Bonaros, who holds degrees in law and arts, was a prominent figure within the SA Best party until she lost her seat at the 2026 state election.
