Conrad Clemens is a German politician and member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Since December 2024, he has served as the Saxon State Minister for Education in the third cabinet of Minister-President Michael Kretschmer. Previously, he held significant roles including Chief of the Saxon State Chancellery and State Minister for Federal Affairs and Media. Clemens, who grew up in the former East Germany and Suriname, studied international business and political science before working as a consultant and parliamentary office manager. He has been a member of the Landtag of Saxony since 2024, representing the Görlitz 3 constituency.
