Corinne Narassiguin

Corinne Narassiguin is a French politician serving as a Senator for Seine-Saint-Denis since 2023. Born in Réunion, she pursued studies in telecommunications before working in the information technology sector in Paris and New York. A long-time member of the Socialist Party, she previously served as a Member of the National Assembly for the first constituency of French residents overseas from 2012 to 2013. Throughout her career, she has been a prominent advocate for social equality, notably acting as the lead spokesperson for the Socialist group during the parliamentary debates on same-sex marriage. She has also held various leadership roles within the Socialist Party, including national secretary for coordination and means.
