Cressida O'Hanlon

Cressida O'Hanlon is an Australian politician serving as a member of the South Australian House of Assembly for the seat of Dunstan. She made political history in 2024 by becoming the first government-backed candidate to win a seat from the opposition in a South Australian by-election in over 116 years. Prior to her election to the state parliament, O'Hanlon worked as a corporate mediator and as a staff member for Reggie Martin MLC. She also contested the federal seat of Sturt in 2019 and the state seat of Dunstan in 2022 before securing her victory in 2024 and winning a full term in 2026.
