Cristina Narbona

María Cristina Narbona Ruiz is a Spanish politician who currently serves as a member of the Congress of Deputies and as the President of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). Born in Madrid, she spent her youth in Rome before returning to Spain to pursue a career in economics and academia. She previously served as the Minister of Environment from 2004 to 2008 and as First Vice President of the Senate. Narbona is known for her advocacy regarding housing affordability and her strong opposition to nuclear power, consistently supporting the implementation of environmental protocols.
