Dan Griffey

Dan Griffey is an American politician and firefighter serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives. First elected in 2014 after defeating an incumbent, he represents the 35th legislative district. Before entering the legislature, Griffey spent his career as a firefighter, beginning as a volunteer at age 16 and later serving as a lieutenant with the Central Mason Fire Department. In the House, he has held leadership roles such as Assistant Whip and has been a prominent advocate for legislation to eliminate the statute of limitations for rape.
