Daniel Panov is a Bulgarian politician who has served as the Mayor of Veliko Tarnovo since 2011. A member of the GERB party, he previously pursued a career in the Bulgarian Army, serving in various command roles from 1989 to 2002, and later managed the Tsarevgrad Tarnov tourism company. In addition to his mayoral duties, he was elected chairperson of the Management Board of the National Association of Bulgarian Municipalities in 2016. Panov is recognized for his contributions to promoting cultural tourism in the region.
