Daniel Rausch is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt. Born in Gotha in 1963, he worked as a toolmaker and CNC programmer before entering politics. He joined the Alternative for Germany (AfD) in 2013 and served as a founding chairman of the party's Salzlandkreis district association. Rausch was first elected to the state parliament in 2016 and briefly served as Vice President of the Landtag before resigning from that specific leadership role shortly after his appointment. He was re-elected to the Landtag in 2021 and continues to serve as a representative for his party.
