Daniel Rojas Medellín is a Colombian economist, political activist, and politician serving as the Minister of National Education since July 2024. Born in Bogotá, he studied economics at Saint Thomas Aquinas University and previously directed the Special Assets Society from 2022 to 2024. He was also involved in Gustavo Petro's 2018 presidential campaign and subsequent presidential transition team.
