Danny Diggs

Danny Diggs is an American politician serving as a member of the Senate of Virginia, representing the 24th district. A member of the Republican Party, he assumed office in 2024 after defeating incumbent Monty Mason in the 2023 general election. Prior to his legislative career, Diggs served as the Sheriff of York County and Poquoson for over two decades, holding that position from 2000 until his retirement in early 2023. He brings extensive experience in law enforcement to his role in the state legislature.
